 How To Clean Your Lungs After Quitting Smoking

The damage done to your body, and especially to your lungs, because of smoking is irreversible. Especially if you’ve smoke a long period of time. There are various natural methods that can help you in your effort to detox your lungs after quitting smoking.

Although, your lungs may not recover 100 percent after quitting, it is certainly better for them if you stop. And, even though they will not be as they were before you started, you can help them get better and improve your breathing. While doing so, you can also  improve your blood circulation or your liver’s health. The benefits are infinite, not to mention the impact it will have on your skin.

To help your lungs clear all the goo acquired in time due to smoking you have to introduce in your diet raw vegetable and fruits, natural juices, honey, ginger, lemon or spices such as turmeric.

Here’s one “elixir” to help you clear your lungs:

What you need: onions, water, turmeric, ginger.

How you make it: Cover 1 kg of onions with 1 l of water. Cut the onions in quarters, after peeling them. To that, add a small peeled ginger root. Also add the turmeric and boil the mixture until the liquid is reduced to half. Strain, put the liquid in a jar and keep in the fridge. Take 2 tablespoons of it in the morning, on an empty stomach, and again 2 tablespoons before dinner.

You can also use watercress to clean your lungs, many doctors considering it to be a great ally for this purpose.

Here’s one way of usage, to clean your lungs:

What you need: Watercress, dates and water.

How you make the soup: put 1 kg of watercress, 2 cups of dates and 4 cups of water, to boil. When it starts boiling, lower the heat and boil for 4 hours. If necessary, remove the foam. To finish it, season it as you like.

Please keep in mind that, to get to the right texture it mush boil for 4 hours.
